Our Fees

Mediation Information Assessment Meeting (MIAM)

A one time, 45-minute, one to one session with your mediator.

  • Concession* £75.00
  • Standard £95.00
  • Peak Times £120.00 (Weekdays from 5 pm or Weekends)

Mediation Sessions

A 90-minute, joint session with the other party and your mediator. Your mediation summary, if required, is included in the fee.

All fees are per party and weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm

Notes

* Legal Aid provides free mediation, and some additional services, if you are on low income and meet the qualification criteria. To qualify for legal aid: your income (or combined income if you have a partner) shouldn’t be more than £2,657 a month before tax and your savings (or combined savings if you have a partner) shouldn’t be more than £8,000. There are numerous other qualifying criteria and these limits can vary in certain circumstances – for example, if you need advice about domestic abuse or you are in receipt of certain benefits. If you do not qualify for Legal Aid then we’ll consider your case for our Concession pricing below. Legal Aid services are available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm

* Concession pricing is for those on low household incomes of less than £25,000 p.a. who have failed to meet the criteria for Legal Aid. Concession services are available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm

* Deposits paid for Legal Aid services are payable in advance and will be fully refunded if your case has been assessed as qualifying for Legal Aid. Should your case be rejected for Legal Aid then the deposit will be retained as payment for the MIAM at the concessionary rate. If you are in receipt of certain benefits it is possible that your case will be ‘passported’ through the assessment criteria; in these cases, no deposit will be payable.

All deposits or session fees must be paid for in advance. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Visa Debit, Maestro, Visa Electron.

Shuttle Mediation (Separate Rooms with an Additional 30 minutes): £40 per party per session (Free with Legal Aid)

Child Consultation: £P.O.A. (Free with Legal Aid)

All Day Mediation and Special Arrangements: £P.O.A.

Signing Court Documents e.g. C100 or Form A: £25 per form (Free with Legal Aid)

Memorandum of Understanding – £102 per party (Free with Legal Aid)

Open Financial Statement – £142 per party (Free with Legal Aid)

Cancellations

MIAM: You’ll be able to cancel or re-schedule your MIAM if you provide 7 or more days notice via email to [email protected]. In the case of a cancellation with 7 or more days notice, a full refund will be provided. You will not be able to reschedule or receive a refund for a cancellation or no-show, with less than 7 days notice of your session.

Mediation: You’ll be able to cancel or re-schedule your Mediation Session if you provide 7 or more days notice via email to [email protected]. In the case of a cancellation with 7 or more days notice, a full refund will be provided. You will not be able to reschedule or receive a refund for a cancellation or no-show, with less than 7 days notice of your session. Should one party cancel with less than 7 days notice then the other party will be given the opportunity to reschedule the session or cancel the session with a full refund.

Should the Mediator be required to cancel the session, then the appointment will be rescheduled to the next earliest suitable time for all parties.
